I have a flexible teaching style and tailor my lessons to suit each student – progress through the ABRSM grades and take music exams or learn just for fun, either option is fine! I’m equally experienced with introducing the piano to complete beginners who are entirely new to the instrument, and with mentoring more advanced students looking to hone their performance skills.

 

I offer guidance in a variety of styles from classical to jazz, rock and pop, as well as a general grounding in the basics of reading music and building up a first repertoire of pieces. All ages and abilities are welcome. I have an enhanced DBS certificate as part of my role with the local education authority and have training in working together to safe guard children and young people, from the Leeds Safeguarding Children Board.
